serve this with your plum pudding!
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a plum pudding, and I was so grateful and excited for all who reached out and purchased one from our woolshed at Essington Park. We hung them to mature for a few months so I know they will be good and as we sold out quickly. Here is my favourite thing to serve it with!
My quick brandy cream sauce recipe
500ml pouring cream.
500g brown sugar
¼ cup of brandy or to taste
Before you begin, take a big swig of the brandy, and breathe
Place all the ingredients into a pot and simmer gently for 5 minutes. You can adjust the amount of brandy to taste.
Serve in a jug on the side of your steaming hot plum pudding.
Tip: The sauce will last for a week or two in the fridge and is really yummy poured over vanilla bean ice cream. Just saying!!!
